Allen Periosteal Elevator

Allen Periosteal Elevator is used for refracting and reflecting the mucoperiosteum after gingival tissue incisions. The instrument blade is inserted into the posterior tooth's sulcus and then directed toward the distal papilla end on the tooth's mesial surface.
